Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Metabo application ("the app"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to these Terms. The Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.

Not medical advice

Metabo is a wellness and tracking tool. It is not a medical, nutritional, or professional advisory service and is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition. Intermittent fasting is not suitable for everyone. Consult a qualified clinician before starting — especially if you are pregnant, under 18, diabetic, have a history of disordered eating, or take medication. Stop and seek help if you feel unwell.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple-branded devices you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and the Standard EULA, subject to these Terms. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the app.

Your account

Metabo uses Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your Apple Account secure. You may delete your account and its data at any time from Profile → Delete account inside the app.

Subscriptions & billing

• The core of Metabo — the live 16:8 fasting timer, your day streak and current stage — is free, with no ads.
• Metabo Premium is an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks every plan, the full stage timeline and Learn library, advanced insights, reminders and data export.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.
• Prices may vary by region and are shown at the time of purchase. Purchases, billing, and refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; refunds are requested through Apple, not us. Restore Purchases is always available.

Your content & data

Your fasts, plan and goals are yours. They are stored on your device and in your own private iCloud (CloudKit), which only you can access. We run no third-party analytics on it, and we never sell or share it. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Honest limits

iCloud sync is a background enhancement and is eventual, not instant. We do not promise the app will be uninterrupted or error-free. The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Metabo and WebKoding shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.

Trademarks

Metabo is an independent product by WebKoding. Apple and iCloud are trademarks of Apple Inc., used here only to describe compatibility. Metabo is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
